Ordering Information

Our goal is to make the ordering process as fast and easy as possible
Once we receive the order it goes through 3 steps:

  1. Verification
  2. Processing
  3. Delivery

1. Order Verification

Usually takes 2-3 hours during business hours

  • Verify payment, shipping billing information (When we receive the order it needs to be approved by credit department.)
  • Prescription verification (if applicable)
  • Check product availability from supplier 

A sales representative will contact you shortly if there are some issues during verification process

2. Processing time

Frame ONLY (Eyeglasses or Sunglasses)  2-4 business days

Order / Receive product from supplier  -> Inspect -> Package -> Ship

Frame with the LENSES 5-8 business days to complete.

Order / Receive product from supplier  -> Manufacture lenses -> Install lenses in frame -> Inspect -> Package -> Ship
(* For CUSTOM MADE lenses please allow extra 2-3 days)

3. Shipping Time

The period from when the order leaves our facility to when it arrives at your door. You can usually see a range of Estimated Delivery Dates during Checkout after you select the shipping method that you prefer.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

There is no minimum order. All DOMESTIC orders  (  continental USA  do not include ALASKA  and HAWAII ) are qualified for a FREE  Standard shipping by  USPS.All orders are shipped with the tracking #

*IMPORTANT: Please note by  selecting the expedited shipping option you  can not expedite the processing time.  Standard processing time for instock orders of frames and sunglasses only ( no prescription ) is 2-4 business days (  unless advised otherwise). Prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses processing time is 5-8 business days (  unless advised otherwise). Custom made orders can take upt 10 business days to  complete.

All interantional orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail International - shipping time varies from 10-15 business days

For your convenience we accept VISA , MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
For credit cards issued outside of the United States and Canada we require a photo ID and a copy of the credit card used to place your order(both sides) to be e-mailed to info@glassesonweb.com 
Your payment approval is subjected to your bank’s co-operation with us in the ownership confirmation.

You  can securely  checkout  with PayPal. Please log in to  your account to  complete the transaction.   Your order will be processed upon confirmation of payment.  We only accept payments from verified PayPal accounts - account with approved credit card ownership and confirmed billing address.

FSA/HSA
If you have an FSA/HSA debit card, you can enter that card's information at check-out, just like you would a normal credit card. If you do not have an FSA/ HSA debit card, you will have to make your purchase using another credit card and file for the reimbursement directly from your  provider. Most providers will require you to submit a reimbursement form along with an itemized receipt or invoice (which will be  included with your package). We won't be beat on price. We'll match the product prices of key online and local competitors!

If you find eyeglasses or sunglasses frames of the same color and style for a lower price on another website, we'll match that price.

How does Price-Match Guarantee work?

Simply E-mail us  (info@glassesonweb.com )  the URL (i.e. web address) of the page where you found the lower-priced item , Print "Price Match" in subject line.
Once we verify that the item meets the criteria for our price-match policy you  will be contacted by  our customer support specialist  with instructions on how to  proceed with placing an order.

Price-Match Guarantee policy

  • Product must be the exact same brand, color, size, and style, and sold by an authorized U.S. dealer.  (Amazon.com, Ebay.com, and other auction sites, are excluded).
  • Only applies to listed price of the frame.
  • Does not apply misprinted or falsely advertised prices.
  • Promo codes or other discounts cannot be combined with our Price-Match Guarantee.
  • If competitors price are below our cost we reserve the right not to price match.

  30-Day Exchange/store credit Frames / Sunglasses ONLY:

  •    NO RESTOCKING FEE  We offer a one-time exchange if you are not happy with your initial choice. We will charge $9.95 to cover shipping costs. We can then issue store credit as long as the exchange takes place within 7 days from when the order was received.(  Return must include case , cloth and all accessories initially  provided in the package. All items must be in good condition. )
  •    Shipping charge is non refundable
  •    Customer pays return shipping cost 

                Your exchange can be processed in two ways:

  1. With your return, please enclose a note clearly stating that you wish to exchange the frame and specifying what model number, color code and size you wish to receive instead. Once your return is received, your exchange will be processed and any outstanding fees will be charged to the original method  on file. Please note we do not charge restocking fee or additional shipping to  process the exchange. The outstanding balance can only  result due to  the price difference. (  more expensive  item selected as an exchange). In case the item selected as an exchange is of a lesser value the price difference  less  $9.95 will be refunded back to  the original method of payment. 
  2. You can speed up the exchange by simply placing a new order for the desired product. If you choose this exchange method, please let us know that you are placing a new order so that we'll refund you for the original order accordingly. Please note we do not refund shipping charges.

Frame measurements explain

A frame has 4 basic frame sizes ( eye, bridge, temple, vertical ):

  • Eye Size - refers to the horizontal width in millimeters of one of the frame's lenses.
  • Bridge Size - measurement is the distance in millimeters between the two lenses. It is measured between the two closest points of the two lenses.
  • Temple Size - is measured along the length of the temple, from one end to the other, including the bend.
  • Vertical Size (B) - refers to the vertical height of an eyeglasses lens, and is measured from the tip to the bottom of the lens aperture of the frame. The measurements are taken from a horizontal line intersecting with the top of the lens, to the horizontal line intersecting with the bottom edge of the lens. The B measurement is only important when ordering multifocal lenses.

Reading Your Frame Size
Most name brand eyeglass/sunglass frames have some size information printed on the inside of the frame, although the lettering can be worn away with use. To find all the lettering, you must look on the inside of both temples, and on the inside of the bridge. If the numbering has worn off use the below size chart to take the measurements ( in millimeters ) yourself. All four sizes ( eye, bridge, temple, vertical ) are color coded to make the size chart easier to read.

Find Your Current Frame Size
If you already own a eyeglass or sunglass frame, look on the inside of each temple to find the size of the frame...look at the image to the right. The Eye Size is always first then there a dash or a square the bridge size some space then the temple size. The vertical size is rarely on the frame.

Note: if the size is not on the temple look under the bridge.

Sunglass Size vs Eyeglass Size
In most cases a person's eyeglass frame is smaller than their sunglass frame, however if the styles of the frame are similar then the size might be similar. If the sunglass frame is a wrapped frame ( has a curve to it ) then usually the frame will fit a more wide-range of people.

Best Way to Find What Frame Size I Need
In most cases, if you're looking to purchase an eyeglass frame you should use the size from a previous eyeglass frame you've owned. If you're looking to purchase a sunglass frame then you should use the size from a previous sunglass frame you've owned.
The best thing to do is go to a local store try-on some frames until you either find a frame you like then come back to our website to purchase that frame. If you find a frame you like make sure you look on the inside of the temple to find the model number and the size since frames do come in multiple sizes.

Total Width of a Frame
To know truly how big the frame is, meaning how will it look on your face you must determine the total frame width. The total frame width includes the endpieces, and the endpieces are never measured and specified. The endpiece refers to the width of the frame from the edge of the lens out to the edge of the frame where the temples are connected to the frame front. In most cases an endpiece is 2-6 mm for a total of 4-12mm for both.

Measure Yourelf to Determine Your Frame Size
Below are instructions on how to determine the best frame size for your face.

  • Looking into your mirror, hold a ruler so it is lined up with your temple. (See illustration for proper positioning)
  • You can put a pen or pencil in each ear to help position each ear.
  • Measure in inches the distance between your left and right temples.
  • Use the chart below to convert your measurement to a frame size.
  • You must only order a frame in which its size is within +/- 3 of your size.

To convert your measurement from inches to millimeters (mm) please multiply by 25.4...1 inch = 25.4mm.
To convert your measurement from centimeters (cm) to millimeters (mm) please multiply by 10...1cm = 10mm.

 

We do not work directly with insurance companies. Most of the insurance companies consider GlassesOnWeb as an out-of-network provider. That means you purchase eyeglasses first, then you submit reimbursement form (provided by your insurance company) together with itemized invoice (witch you will receive from GlassesOnWeb) and get paid direcly from your insurance company.

We recommend that you check with your insurance provider for your out-of-network benefits eligibility before completing and order on our website.

    FSA/HSA funds can be used to purchase prescription eyewear and/or frames.
    FSA/HSA funds can be used whether you have vision insurance or not.
