Beyonce and Jay-Z got a fantastic start to 2012 with the birth of their baby girl, Blue Ivy. Beyonce gave birth at NYC's Lenox Hill Hospital on Saturday via C-section, apparently in the super-star-style she's become all too accustomed to. According to various sources, the proud new parents pulled out all the stops to make sure they welcomed their new baby girl in high style, reportedly shelling out a whopping $1.3 million to take over a swanky, newly renovated suite--and according to some reports an entire floor --of Lenox Hospital. What's more, when Beyonce checked in -- under the pseudonym Ingrid Jackson -- her diva-ish demands included a full-scale security team, hospital staffers being forced to turn over their cell phones (to avoid any unauthorized picture snapping), and the lenses of the floor's security cameras being covered with tape.
