Frames of life is the title of the latest Giorgio Armani eyewear campaign, for fall-winter 2011. Such a well chosen title, which can relate to the actual product (glasses) as well as to the story of the promotional video!
Yvan Rodic, Song Feifei, Jackie Dixon, Micol Sabbadini and other photographers/bloggers of the world were invited to give a helping hand in creating this project. The black and white photographs were taken in the capitals of fashion from around the world, including Paris, Shanghai, New York, Berlin, London and Barcelona. They show regular men and women, wearing the latest collection of Giorgio Armani eyewear. To increase interactivity with the public even more, the brand allows users to personalize the ad campaign according to their own will, by “becoming a director” or “becoming a photographer”, using the frames and footage already available. The brand even launched a website for this occasion, which can be found here.
