Actor Val Kilmer attended Chatsworth High School in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley where his classmates included Kevin Spacey. At the age of 17, he was the youngest student to be accepted into Juilliard's drama program at the time. His break out role as naval aviator "Iceman" in Top Gun alongside Tom Cruise, sent girls swooning. His critically acclaimed portrayal of Jim Morrison in The Doors and big-budget action films Batman Forever and The Saint followed in the mid to late 90's. He subsequently dropped out of the blockbuster film arena for quite a few years, but reemerges this Summer, albeit looking a tad chunkier than in his glory days, in the action comedy, McGruber, as bad guy Dieter Von Cunth.
