The suede hiking booties are from You and She, while the bag is a leather Steve Madden. The wool cape is from Aiko Riley, and it's chic and comfortable in the same time. As accessories, we added some wooden bangles from Toshop and the cute Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses.

The Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses are available in brown rose/havana rose, gold brown, gold white, palladium teal and ruthenium black gray. The price for them is just $77, and they are pretty great for sporty and casual looks.
Oct 25, 2011 Lots of color from Marc by Marc Jacobs
The MMJ 098/s sunglasses have the advantage of coming in a wide range of colors - we love that. And not only are the frames colorful, but so are the gradient lenses. Some combinations include: blue gray with gray shaded lenses, brown peach with brown gradient lenses, brown purple with brown violet lenses, fuchsia pink with burgundy gradient lenses, gold with gray gradient lenses, shiny black with dark gray gradient lenses, white with green gradient lenses and white with brown gradient lenses.

But since it's winter now, and July is a while before us, let's just look at these Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses in red and blue...
The MMJ 047/s sunglasses are oversized, with rectangular lenses, and the pictured version comes with red frames, plus blue arms and lenses. The price for these is just $77 and they come with everything you need to be sure that they're authentic.
Oct 19, 2011 Unisex sunglasses from Marc by Marc Jacobs
These unisex sunglasses from Marc by Marc Jacobs are rather designed for men than women. However, they would look good on round-faced women, because of their very angular square lenses. The front part is colored differently than the arms- and the arms have cute horizontal stripes all over! The MMJ 096/N/S sunglasses have gradient lenses, fixed nose pads and a full rim.
The best thing about these Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses is the variety of colors. You can get them in black green, blue gray, brown gray, gray, olive gray, pink rose, shiny black and violet. It's the colors that make them suitable for women, too! The tones of pink, olive or violet are adorable and irresistible! You ca get these sunglasses for just $86, 14% cheaper than the usual price.
Oct 18, 2011 Red sunglasses are hot!
Not only are red sunglasses sexy hot, they're also one of the hot trends of the season. We've seen them on fashion icon Sienna Miller, on singer Rihanna or on Ashley Tisdale, on Elle MacPherson, Nicole Richie and even Lady Gaga. Such sunglasses are bold, but they can be tamed with neutral colors in the rest of the outfit. They look cool and they feel great, so here is a nice pair we found over at Marc by Marc Jacobs, with bright red frames.
The MMJ 142/s sunglasses are rectangular, oversized, with a red front and black arms. The round logo on the temples is also red. They've got fixed nose pads and gradient lenses. If, by any chance, red isn't your thing, you can get the same sunglasses in gray burgundy, havana, shiny black and teal. Their price is just $77, 13% less than the normal market price.
Oct 14, 2011 How to wear colorful Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses
In order to obtain a balanced look with colorful sunglasses, you have to keep most of it neutral, and only use one more colorful item in the outfit. We put this together as an example, using the havana red turquoise MMJ 246/s sunglasses. They're square shaped and rather simple, if not for the variety of colors used on their frame.
The neutral part of the outfit consists of a pair of high-waist skinny jeans from Rag & Bone, paired with a fluffy sweater designed by Alexa Chung for Madewell. The edgy part is given by the high platforms from Jeffrey Campbell, still in neutral colors. We added an orange trench coat as a contrasting color, which is very trendy this fall and which goes well with the colors of the sunglasses. You can choose to add a knitted scarf is the weather is cold, and wear your favorite pieces of jewelry - a layered necklace, stud earrings or several rings could have a cool effect on the look!
Oct 13, 2011 Drew Barrymore in Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses
When Drew Barrymore made her debut in E.T. in 1982, she was a child wonder. Her troubled adolescence didn't announce her big movie career as an adult. However, Drew became truly successful in the 90s and she is now one of the most popular comedy actresses there are. After the success of Going the Distance last year, Drew is about to launch her newest movie, Big Miracle, which is a romantic drama happening in Alaska.
On a personal level, Drew announced that she is ready to get married and have kids. The 37 year old actress said that she'd say yes to a possible proposal from her boyfriend Will Kopelman, whom she's been dating for less than a year.
While we're waiting for the big announcement, here's an older picture of Drew wearing a very casual outfit: Reebok sneakers, jeans, a graphic tee, a red jacket and a pair of Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses. The 019/s aviators have a plastic full rim, they're white and they have a sporty look.

Oct 11, 2011 Thin frame sunglasses
Oversized sunglasses are usually thick framed, which is not the case of the Marc by Marc Jacobs 186/s sunglasses. These feature a full rim made of plastic, with very thin frames. This makes them look chic and classy, suitable for absolutely any occasion, from festive to casual, from work to play.
The rectangular shaped sunglasses feature frames in combos of two colors, like the ones pictured above, in gray and black. Other versions include brown, burgundy, havana black and rose brown. Their price is really convenient, $77, 13% off of the original price.
The Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses would look good with a leather jacket, skinny jeans, an oversized bag and combat boots, but they could just as well work with a tailored suit and stilettos. The versatile color of the model pictured above allows for combinations with any other colors, from color blocking to all black.
Oct 7, 2011 Semi rimmed Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses
It's not very Marc by Marc Jacobs to design semi-rimmed sunglasses - most of them are full rim, and with a thick, plastic rim, too! However, this pair of shades looks well and you can fell the Marc by Marc Jacobs print in their appearance. The MMJ 224/s sunglasses are - obviously - semi-rimmed, with a metallic rim at the upper part and gradient, rectangular lenses. You could swear this style was designed for men, if it weren't for the embellished arms and temples. The rectangular shape is rather masculine, while the color range is more feminine.
The sunglasses feature hexagons print on the exterior arms, with five metallic ones close to each temple. The colors available for these shades are blue with white, brown, brown havana, dark ruthenium and light gold with rose (pictured). Their price is a mere $77, 13% off of the original price.
Oct 6, 2011 Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall-Winter 2011 Collection
On the runway, the Marc by Marc Jacobs collection featured inspiration from the 70s combined with a range of warm, autumn colors like chocolate brown, caramel, mustard, brick red, forest green or orange. Classic fabrics, like tweed, were combined with kitsch prints, like deers or felines.
The sunglasses to match these pretty clothes are oversized, in red-brown tones, with gradient lenses as well as frames. Most of them feature a sort of butterfly shape, with interesting details at the upper corners. The sunglasses blend in nicely with the effortless hair, nude make-up and warm colored clothes of the models.
The sunglasses look classy combined with pussybow blouses and mysterious when combined with large 70s hats. As you can see, they work well on different face shapes - there's not one model that they don't look great on.
Things are a bit different for men - their sunglasses are smaller, with round-to-oval lenses, in a dark havana shade. They look elegant whether they're worn with colorful turtlenecks or with printed shirts.
Oct 4, 2011 Marc by Marc Jacobs 087/s sunglasses
The sunglasses naming this post, MMJ 087/s, look a bit different than what you've seen before. They feature a full rim, square gradient lenses, they're oversized, and the arms are connected in the lower part rather than at the middle or higher. The temples are engraved with the Marc by Marc Jacobs logo, and the overall look is elegant and a bit edgy.
These sunglasses work well with glamorous outfits (think fur coats, heels and minuscule clutches), casual outfits (shorts, boots, a plaid shirt) or office wear (straight pants, button up shirt and oxfords). Their versatility comes from the classic shape of their front combined with the innovative details of the arms.
Besides the black palladium pictured, these shades are also available in chocolate gold, havana gold and pearl plum. All the versions are classy and can be worn in combination with any other colors.
Oct 2, 2011 Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses in Glee
Marc by Marc Jacobs products have often been featured in the popular TV series Glee. They bring the classy Marc Jacobs style at a more affordable price, so it's a win-win situation with this brand. The characters most wearing such products are Rachel Berry (played by Lea Michele), Emma Pisbury (Jayma Mays) and Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer).
Like the star that she is, Rachel sometimes feels like she needs special treatment, and wearing Marc by Marc Jacobs can make anyone feel special! Lea Michele has been spotted on the set of Glee, Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses in hand, a pair of comfortable denim shorts, some ballet flats and a basic white tee. Alongside was Jenna Ushkowitz, who plays Tina in the show.
Lea is wearing the MMJ 122/s in light havana, which are oversized and rectangular, with thin arms and a metallic detail on the temples that reads the name of the brand. The price for these is just $66, by the way!
Oct 1, 2011 In between semi and full rim
The reason why I've marked these sunglasses as "in between semi and full rim" is their special design. The exterior part of the lenses is not tied to the rim, but the rim itself exists and it's full. You'll understand better if you look at the picture:
The MMj 162/S sunglasses from Marc by Marc Jacobs are oversized, with a thin rim, a hexagonal metallic logo on the temples and gradient lenses. Among the colors available, we picked brown havana, but they also come in dark ruthenium blue, gold brown and palladium aqua. These are not your regular sunglasses, and note that they will grab attention towards you when you wear them. Their interesting details will make sure you don't go unnoticed, so prepare for the newly gained attention. And get them for $77.
Sep 29, 2011 Any color you like
It's sometimes difficult to find the perfect sunglasses, which look good on your face and make you glad you're wearing them. At times, you find the perfect shape and size, but realize that the color just doesn't suit: maybe it's too dark for your pale complexion, or you simply can't think of anything else in your wardrobe to match it with. Most brands offer two or three different colors, which may or may not be enough. But when you find such variety as we did at Marc by Marc Jacobs, you can't help but awe.
The Marc by Marc Jacobs MMJ 021/S sunglasses come in at least 10 colors, so you can pick your fave: brown shaded, cherry, chocolate, dark plum shaded, gray, navy, olive tortoise, opal gray, sienna brown and spotted tortoise. With so many colors to choose from, the question is not whether you'll find the right ones, but which to choose?
Sep 23, 2011 Café au lait
Imagine the perfect Sunday morning. You wake up late, dress up and go out with your best friend or boyfriend. While wearing one of your prettiest tea-dresses, you order you favorite coffee specialty: café au lait.
By getting the Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses below, you will have that Sunday morning with you at all times, even if just in your heart. Their gorgeous shade of brown will remind you of milk coffee, and the mixture of textures will contribute, too.
The MMJ 013/S sunglasses are rectangular, with rounded corners, full rim, and with darker colored arms. They're transparent towards the nose side and matte towards the temples. And if café au lait is not your favorite cup, you can go for black, olive tortoise, spotted tortoise or tortoise violet crystal. These sunglasses can be yours for $77, 13% less than normal.
Sep 22, 2011 How to wear hot pink sunglasses
Brightly colored sunglasses are the perfect ones for summer - playing beach volley, sunbathing, road tripping and all those other fun summer activities need bright shades to be complete. However, you can still wear your colorful sunglasses through autumn and winter, if you match them with the right outfit.
An idea is to match your sunglasses with only one other item in the outfit (whether it's a piece of clothing or an accessory), and keep the rest of it neutral. Use layering to your advantage and make sure your look will never be dull.
For example, you can match your bright pink sunglasses with a pair of bright pink skinny jeans. Then go all neutral with gray heeled ankle booties, a white blouse and a black and white striped jacket. The sunglasses that we chose as exemplification are the Marc by Marc Jacobs 150/S, oversized and funky, perfect for everyday wear!
Sep 20, 2011 Shield sunglasses
You might think that if the sun doesn't bother your eyes, you don't have to wear sunglasses. That is false: the damaging UV rays can cause such diseases as sunburn of the cornea (photokeratitis) or permanent retinal damage. Even during cloudy days, the UV rays can damage your eyes, so the fact that it's not all that sunny doesn't mean you don't have to wear sunglasses. Better safe than sorry, right?
Sunglasses should also be used when driving, against reflections of any kind, when it's snowy or when there's water around. The sunglasses that you wear should offer 99-100% protection. The best kind, offering full protection and covering a large part of the face, are shield sunglasses.
The Marc by Marc Jacobs 169/S sunglasses might be your go-to sunglasses for any season. You can take them swimming or skiing, you can use them at any time. They're rimless, with a round logo on the temples, and they're available in several colors, for $77.
Sep 16, 2011 Emma Roberts in Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses
Emma Roberts comes from a family of actors, so no wonder she followed the same path! Her father is Eric Roberts, her aunt is Julia Roberts and her stepmother is Eliza Roberts. She says Anne Hathaway is her role model and the Olsen twins are her favorite fashion icons.
Emma made her debut in 2001, and her career has grown since, with such movies as Aquamarine, Nancy Drew or It's kind of a funny story. Next year, you'll see her in Celeste and Jesse forever, a comedy/drama, and Adult World, a cute comedy in which she plays the part of a recent college graduate.
As for fashion sense, Emma seems to have plenty of. Pictured above, she is wearing a white crochet dress from Topshop with black Lanvin ballet flats and Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses. The sunglasses are MMJ 176/S, in black. Read more about these retro sunglasses and find out how to get them!
Sep 15, 2011 Unisex sunglasses
Some sunglasses are shaped so as to fit any face, whether it's of a man or woman, whether it's round, oval, square or triangular. An example would be these Marc by Marc Jacobs shades that you see below, with their square lens and thick, full rim of colorful plastic. The MMJ 229/S sunglasses make the perfect pair for any age, gender or time of the day.
They resemble the Ray Ban Wayfarers, but they're reinterpreted in a Marc by Marc Jacobs manner. Unlike the Wayfarers, the nose pads on these shades are flexible, allowing them to fit your nose just right. Moreover, the frames are printed with diagonal stripes in two colors: black and blue. The arms are black, and they read Marc by Marc Jacobs. Other variants for these shades include matte brown havana (beige and brown stripes, that look just like milk and coffee), matte gray black (gray and black stripes) and shiny black (simple). These shades are just $102, by the way.
Sep 13, 2011 Bold combos at Marc by Marc Jacobs
As a designer, Marc Jacobs is known to be an innovator, whether he's working for Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs or Marc by Marc Jacobs. He uses bold combos in wearable items, which is something not many designers can pull off. The sunglasses below are just one such example.
How about these colors and prints together? The Marc by Marc Jacobs MMJ 240/s sunglasses come with a orange and black rim, combined with blue temples and lens. The reason why these colors look good together is that blue and orange are complementary colors; black just goes with anything. Other variations of these shades include a black rim with lemon yellow temples and gray lens, burgundy rim with white temples and pink lens, havana rim with red temples and brown lens. None of these is as funky as the one pictured, though!
A pair of MMJ 240/S sunglasses is just $77, so what are you waiting for? Get your groove on!
Sep 9, 2011 Shine like a star!
Star motifs have appeared recently in the collections of many designers. We don't know if it's patriotism or it just looks good, but stars have been printed, engraved and embellished on everything lately. For example, stars are the spotlight of these Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses that we're looking at today.
The exterior upper corners have tiny stars - how cute is that? These sunglasses work perfectly for cool, young outfits, but the stars are discreet enough to go unnoticed, if that's what you want - you can wear these shades to school or work, the beach or the city. The color combo pictured, blue and orange, is quite bold, but there are other combos available as well: black with tortoise, brown with orange, pink (with printed stars all over!), powder (also printed in cute stars) and violet with lilac. Either pair is $94 and looks just adorable! Find out more here.
Sep 8, 2011 Marc on Mark
You might know Mark Salling as Puck from the popular TV show Glee. Although he plays the bad-boy-turned-good, there's no debate around him being talented: he can act and he can sing! And we have only good words to speak about his appearance and fashion choices - he wears casual jeans and tees during the day and fabulous suits on the red carpet. And you'll find that he knows his designers when you see the sunglasses he's wearing below:
As if taken from an old movie, Mark looks great in his Marc by Marc Jacobs aviator sunglasses. The teardrop-shaped lenses complement his face shape and their gradient brown looks great with his skin tone. The rebel appearance really suits him, with the mohawk and the smart suit. The aviators make the best accessories for such a man, so excellent choice, Mark!

Sep 6, 2011 Sunglasses for the oblong face
You know that you have an oblong face if the shape of your face is longer than wide, with high cheekbones and a generally angular face. If your forehead is tall and your nose is long, than you correspond to the oblong-shaped face category.
In order to make the best out of your features, you need to make your face appear shorter than it actually is. Sunglasses that are broad, with decorative temples will come to your aid. You should also look for tall frames, which can help you create the illusion of a perfectly symmetrical face. On the other hand, stay away from small frames, that are disproportionate, or short frames that make your face seem even longer than it actually is.
We were able to find several sunglasses in the Marc by Marc Jacobs catalog, which are just perfect for the oblong shaped face. You will note that they are all oversized, and their length will make your face appear shorter, by contrast.
Sep 2, 2011 Marc by Marc Jacobs Unisex Aviators

However, other options include the dark green variety, with gray gradient aqua lens, light havana with gray gradient lens and violet with gray gradient aqua lens. A discreet inscription on the temple reads Marc by Marc Jacobs, which is a sign of quality that you only get with original sunglasses.
Aug 31, 2011 Aqua@Marc by Marc Jacobs
Cat-eye sunglasses are probably the best shape there is for women. No matter if your face is originally round, oval, square, heart-shaped or triangular, cat-eye sunglasses will highlight your best part. Here's how they work: they cover a large space around the eyes, and their ascending corners give the impression that your eyes have that very shape. And everyone knows that the ancient beauty ideal has ascending eyes! No wonder celebrities and fashion icons have worn them over the years - starting with Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe, and up to Alexa Chung or the Olsen twins.
These Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses in aqua are the right pair of sunglasses for the end of summer and the transition into the next season. The color of the frames will remind you of the ocean and the blue skies, and you'll even see a world more beautiful through their lenses. Their large size will protect your eyes and the cay-eye shape will make you look like a true fashionista.
Aug 30, 2011 Sexy Sunglasses From Marc by Marc Jacobs
Marc Jacobs is one of the designers that always managed to make women look sexy while wearing his designs, whether it was the line he designs for Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs or Marc by Marc Jacobs. It may be risky to claim that sunglasses can be sexy - but, at a closer look, they really are!
You'll notice that the four sunglasses pictured above are all cat-eye. It's true, nothing is sexier than cat-eye frames! Their ascending corners make your face become closer to the canonic beauty ideal. Moreover, they give you that sexy feline appearance that Cat Woman masters so well. If they're tortoiseshell or animal print, even better - these are some of the sexiest prints out there. Aug 24, 2011 Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 Campaign
Do you remember Dakota Fanning, the very young actress from I Am Sam, from back in 2001? She's all grown up now and plays excellent parts, such as the rock'n'roll lead singer in The Runaways. If you thought Dakota was young, have a look at her baby sister, Elle.
The 13 year old Elle Fanning is the star of the Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 Campaign, along with male model Lowell Tautchin. Photographed by Juergen Teller in a way that intentionally looks amateurish, the ad campaign, as the fall collection, is inspired by the 70s. Moreover, it has just the right amount of kitsch to still look cool.
The Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses for this fall are also reminiscent of the 70s,they're oversized and mostly round for women, but rather rectangular for men. One pair that we see on Elle even suggests heart shaped glasses, which is something so suitable for the Lolita type that this young woman fits in.
