Jun 14, 2011 Katy Perry in Kate Spade Sunglasses
Katy Perry always manages to cause a sensation, and her latest music video offers quite the celeb-studded cast. Not only does “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” feature the iconic Kenny G, 1980s pop star Debbie Gibson, actor Corey Feldman, “MMMBop” boy band Hanson, and viral video star/ “Friday” singer Rebecca Black, it includes two stars of the Fox comedy-drama
Glee—Darren Criss, who portrays openly-gay William McKinley High School student Blaine Anderson, and Kevin McHale, who portrays wheelchair-bound glee-clubber Artie Abrams.
Katy herself stars as her alter ego, Kathy Lee Perry, a nerdy dork with headgear. Some people are worried that “Last Friday Night” is sending the message that underage drinking and blacking out is acceptable behavior, and Katy’s devout evangelist parents are probably among them. “When my daughter came out and sang that song, ‘I kissed a girl, and I liked it.’ I said, ‘My ministry is over,’” Katy’s father, preacher Keith Hudson, declared.
Katy’s rise to fame has undoubtedly helped her parents in the long run. After all, they’ve been able to travel the world, and Katy’s name helps sell their books. Keith has even adopted the tagline “I kissed God — and I liked it!” Whatever
your stance is on Katy’s career and lifestyle, there’s no denying she looked great sporting these glam cat eye
Kate Spade sunglasses at the Coachella music festival earlier this year.

Kate Spade Franca/S, $128Mar 6, 2011 Johnny Depp in Whimsical Purple-Lense Sunglasses
Johnny Depp is undoubtedly one the hottest men in Hollywood. But he hasn't been putting his "best foot forward" lately sporting shaggy facial hair. Well ladies, rejoice, he finally emerged clean-shaven last week at Narita airport in Tokyo, Japan, in his signature garb--trademark shades (love the fabulous purple lenses), hat, scarf and multiple necklaces.
JD is promoting his new animated film
Rango--which hit theaters yesterday--opposite Isla Fisher and Ned Beatty. He voices a chameleon named Rango who lives in a terrarium and constantly seeks to fit in with his surroundings. Rango finds himself removed from his contemporary American southwest surroundings and ends up in an Old West town in the middle of the Mojave Desert called Dirt, which is populated by various desert critters dressed like characters out of Western fiction. Thinking himself a hero, Rango establishes himself as the town's Sheriff, not knowing that people who have held that title do not fare very well in Dirt. Rango, in turn, comes to question everything about himself.
Next up for Johnny: reprising his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides--the fourth film in the Pirates series--opposite Geoffrey Rush and Penelope Cruz due out in May. You'll also catch him in the independent film,
Rum Diary, with Amber Heard and Giovanni Ribisi. Based on the novel of the same name,
Rum Diary chronicles the antics of a journalist (JD) who tires of New York and America under the Eisenhower administration and travels to Puerto Rico to write for The San Juan Star, where he begins the habit of drinking rum and becomes obsessed with the woman. Hmmm, sounds promising. --rpuccia

After appearances on
8 Simple Rules and
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Rachel Bilson landed the role of Summer Roberts on the now-defunct teen favorite
The O.C. More recently she’s had guest spots on 2 episodes of
How I Met Your Mother alongside
Neil Patrick Harris.
A self-described “fashion junkie,” Rachel’s huge wardrobe caused her plenty of grief in 2009 when her home was burglarized by a group of thieves known as the Bling Ring on several occasions. They got away with a couple hundred grand of her belongings.
Rachel launched vintage-inspired clothing line Edie Rose with DKNY Jeans in September 2008. Mainly comprised of black and white clothing that also contains a splash of yellow, Edie Rose separates easily mesh with a woman’s existing wardrobe. Fashion junkie? Mmm, yeah, definitely. These dark oversized plastic sunglasses with slightly squared corners look dynamite with her ultra-casual outfit.

Whether the angle of the upturned frame is extreme or somewhat subdued, this retro-influenced style is hands-down all the rage and was all over the season's runways. Want to get really bold? Instead of playing it safe with black or tortoise, try a pair in white, or daring shades of red, yellow and pink. They're truly the cat's meow.
