Hunky Sam Worthington is ready to kick back and relax. The 35-year-old actor, who catapulted to fame thanks to a little film called Avatar, tells the September issue of Men's Health that filming nearly 10 films in the span of four years has been rewarding, but exhausting. "I haven't taken a break in four years. It's been a nomadic existence," he says. "Now it's time to enjoy the fruits of my labor for a little bit -- but I don't think I'll be gone for long." Currently promoting The Debt (in theaters August 31), Sam says it took a "s--tload of hard work" to reach this point in his career and that it certainly didn't happen over night. After spending his 20s struggling to find consistent work, Sam says he got to a point where he had to figure out who he was. "I looked in the mirror and didn't like what I saw," he says. "So I sold the mirror." While trekking through the mountains between Melbourne and Sydney, the Australian actor received a call from his agent that would forever change his life: director James Cameron hired him to play Jake Sully in 2009's Avatar. After that, Sam's career goals became crystal clear and he didn't take any opportunities for granted, often spending up to 18 hours a day, six days a week on set. Now in his 30s, he tells Men's Health he's essentially discovered who is: "I'm stuck with who I am, but I can be man enough to iron out the creases." It's starting to look a lot like a wedding day is brewing for Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo. They just held their wedding shower this past Sunday night at the boutique-chic London Hotel in West Hollywood. Apparently the couple, who got engaged last November after four years of dating, spent the whole weekend at the hotel lounging by the pool. The shower started just after 7 p.m. on the hotel's private rooftop garden surrounded by tall hedges and several security guards, closed to the public and roped off. There were hip white couches, chairs and ottomans set up on the lawn area to create a lounge feel while a DJ spun groovy lounge music. And let's not forget the best part--the giant bar set up with a slew of martini glasses. The guest list was kept pretty hush hush, but included NFL quarterback Matt Leinart and former Dancing with the Stars champion and groom-to-be's bro Drew Lachey. According to witnesses (aka peeping toms), the adorable pair held hands and mingled around greeting people all night. (awwww) A good time seemed to be had by all--maybe a bit too good--as Nick took to Twitter the next day: "My liver is furious with me…great time last night at our wedding shower. Thanks to everyone who came out."
